Ashland, MA December 19 2003-–Wander Wear Inc. (www.wander-wear.com), a parent-run company focused on products that help accidentally lost children and their parents or caregivers reunite more quickly and easily, is pleased to announce its partnership with Parent Talk, a Needham, MA based non-profit organization designed to provide parents of young children both emotional and educational support. Parent Talk is offering Wander Wear products through its web site and in other promotions. Wander Wear currently offers two different products. First, the parent locator tags are simple but whimsical badges that can be clipped on or inside a child’s clothing. The tags feature Whizzly (TM), the company’s wandering monster and they allow parents to write up to two cell phone numbers on the back of the tag. The company also offers brightly colored t-shirts, also featuring Whizzly on the front. The shirts aid parents in easily spotting their children in crowded areas and also help remind a parent of the specific clothing being worn should the child get lost if others need a description of the child in assisting the parent’s search. For each Wander Wear product purchased through Parent Talk, Wander Wear donates $2 back to the organization.
